Sunday Morning (2022)

   "Sunday Morning" was both my first comic and something I started and finished in my last semester of college.

   For a while I struggled to know what it was I wanted to do after I gained my freedom to explore the real world. Near the end of my school life I realized comics had me in shackled even if I didn't want to admit it, so I gave making one a try. I spent some time planning, writting and doing concept art for "Vanessa", the main character, until I felt comfortable enough to write something.

   I struggle a lot with finding pleasure and meaning in finishing my projects so the themes in the story are really personal when it comes to that. I challenged myself to ink, tone and typeset the sketches i'd done throughout the semester in three weeks as my final project, which I thankfully followed through and did.
