Duarte Bárbara (shikuisowned) was born and raised in Portugal, where he still resides and works from currently. His work is focused mainly in freelance illustration, having done work for various indie game studios and independents, as well as thumbnail drawings for several content creators. When he has the time, he works on his personal projects, specifically his comic books.

   In his free time, you can find him listening to a record and reading either comics or novels. He's inspired by people such as Kentaro Miura, Yoshihiro Togashi, Matías Bergara, Alexandre Dumas, and many others. He also loves playing trading card games and board games.

He's currently working as an Illustrator for an upcoming card game called "Cast Down" and his own comic book called "Saturation".
